EIDUL ADHA ON FRIDAY, DEC. 21, 2007The Hilal was not sighted anywhere in the US and Canada on Monday, December 10 evening. Therefore, we complete 30 days of Dhul Qa'dah and 1st of Dhul Hijja is on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 with Eid ul Adha in North America on Friday, December 21, 2007 Insha Allah. This decision is supported unanimously by the Hilal Sighting Committee Shoora and also by Shariah Council of California, Zaytuna Institute (Imam Zaid Shakir, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf), Shariah Board of America (www.shariahboard.org), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Hilal Committee of Chicago and many many other organizations.
